After the use of UV printing has become widespread, researchers have also paid much attention to and breakthroughs in its production technology. Among them, the reverse glare technique has attracted more attention. What does reverse glare mean? I believe most outsiders are still unclear.
In China, the main substrates for UV printing are non-absorbent materials. In Europe and the United States, printers not only use the co-curing process to print printed materials of the same quality as traditional UV inks, but also do not meet the high-gloss mirror effect or transparency effect they only have. This process has been further improved to achieve Higher printing contrast. For this reason, an early version called the "reverse glare process" was developed, but at that time, because some details were not resolved, such as adhesion, it was not really implemented. After several years of improvement, this process of UV printing factory manufacturers has become increasingly mature. The following describes the local glazing process using this technology.
Pro-Cure is relative to traditional local glazing. In the past, no matter which coating method was used (flexographic printing, screen printing or gravure printing) for partial coating, the last coating process must use partial coating printing to achieve the high contrast effect of local graphics. Therefore, the overprinting accuracy of glazing and printing has become the key to the glazing process.
The reverse glazing process breaks through the above laws and solves the registration problem. The process is as follows: Before printing, the conventional printing must be completed and the ink must be completely dried or cured. Then, the design draft is connected online or offline. The upper non-high-gloss part is printed with transparent reverse ink by offset printing; then connected, and coated with UV varnish on the printing surface in a full-plate manner and cured.
At this time, a cohesive reaction occurs between the varnish and the reverse ink surface to form a small granular ink film, and the reverse ink region forms a mirror surface.
Obviously, using the reverse glare process, there will be both high-gloss and non-high-gloss effects on the same print. In addition, because the non-high-light parts are offset, the overprinting is accurate, and the accuracy of the graphics of the high-light parts is also guaranteed.
The fundamental purpose of printing is to spread information better and faster, and the reverse glare technology of UV printing is a better printing technology completed on this basis, which achieves higher printing effects and provides consumers with For a better product experience.
